internecion… introducing a science fiction saga of a damaged world

i n t e r n e c i o n is a reality-based science fiction graphic novel in development.

I have spent three years researching, brainstorming, writing, test-drawing and illustrating some concepts for the story.

I have learned – since progress has been slow – that graphic novels are monumental projects. I have cleared a few other freelance projects out of the way. I have a day-job that takes up less time and energy than working in the film industry so now I can see the possibility of making i n t e r n e c i o n a reality.

This site will be a platform for the development of the project and perhaps to gain an audience and feedback.

An increase in greenhouse gases and it’s projected effects on catastrophic climate change is part of the inspiration for this project. The upper ‘normal’ limit is 350 ppm; which was exceeded over 25 years ago. The CO2 Now graphs on this site are updated monthly. If you care about our world, and the future of our children, then it is up to every single person to take some initiative and do something about it. Don’t wait for lethargic, waffling governments that feed off fossil fuel taxes and carbon taxes, and don’t listen to the energy industries that feed the governments. They’re playing a very dangerous waiting game.

Start taking action now.

Atmospheric CO2 data and trendIn 1750 it was about 280 ppm.
In 1850 it began to rise significantly as the industrial revolution kicked into high gear.
Catastrophic climate change may occur around 450 ppm.
There are undetermined ‘tipping points’ where CO2 levels and climate instability
would ‘run away’ regardless of human intervention.

These may be irreversible. These may have already occurred.
